Toshinobu Nagamine’s Profile

I am currently Associate Professor of English teacher education at Kumamoto University, Japan. My teaching concentrates broadly on the areas of TESOL and Applied Linguistics. I have lectured on Research Writing, EFL Teaching Methodology, English Phonetics, etc. at an undergraduate level. I have also taught Research Methodology, TESOL/Applied Linguistics Seminars, etc. at a postgraduate level. I hold a Ph.D. in Composition & TESOL from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, USA, and an M.A. in TESOL from Murray State University, USA. My doctoral research investigated preservice EFL teachers’ beliefs about language learning and teaching and development processes during four-week teaching practica.
